About 1.3 million Ohioans lack high-speed internet. 17% of households don't have an internet-ready device. More than 706,000 lower-income households have low digital skills. Meanwhile, businesses retire fleets of laptops every year, libraries run digital classes that few residents know about, and counties struggle to see where demand is highest.
Connectus Ohio exists to connect these dots. One platform—for residents, partners, donors, employers, and local governments—so that an unused laptop in Cleveland can become a job-application device in Athens, and a class in Toledo can be found by a resident in Springfield.
